STORI TELLING

A few weeks ago I finished Tori Spelling book. I was a faithful 90210 watcher and I love to watch her reality show on Oxygen. So of course I had been wanting her book. I finally purchased it on Amazon.com. The book was great. She gave a lot of behind the scenes info on what was happening on the set of 90210. And she went on to tell how her and her new hubby met. If you like Tori and Hollywood gossip like I do check out the book.

Our First Baseball Game

R took a break from football this year and decided to try a new sport. His baseball team is the Dodgers. They had their first game on Saturday evening. His dad got to be there but I missed it. I was so bummed. My two little girls got the stomach flu. And Sunday afternoon R started with the flu. It's been bad, but the girls seem like they are doing better. I hope Mommy and Daddy don't get it. YUCK!!

YAY HALLOWEEN IS NEAR

I am so excited for October. As soon as the first day of Fall came around I took some of our Fall and Halloween decorations out. I was even more excited on Monday when I got my Martha Stewart "Living" magazine in the mail. She has some great ideas for fall and Halloween. This will be my first year throwing a Halloween party. It is going to be just for adults. I am getting a babysitter for all of the kiddos and they will be next door at our good friends house. I was wondering if any of you had any ideas for party games? I need a few. I also needed ideas for a possible party theme? I was thinking Super Hero's? I thought that might be fun to see what costumes people come up with. Ideas please!!!! I want to have a SPOOKTACULAR time.

My little trouble maker

Wow, I am sure getting a taste of what I was like when I was little. According to my mom I was pretty bad. I made messes like a tornado and was pretty mean to kids who wanted to touch my toys. Both Robert and Mia have been so good. They have their moments but for the most part they are pretty good kids. And then came along sweet Ava. Man she is trouble, she makes a mess everywhere she goes, and she doesn't put up with Mia. She knows what she wants and goes for it. I get so frustrated with her, but as soon as I see her little face my attitude changing. That face gets me every time.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL

Yep, the season is here. My hubby's first game was on Friday night. There is nothing like those Friday night lights. We all had such a great time. The Panthers almost won the game. They did so great out there. I love to watch the game but, my favorite is watching my man in action. After the game the kids had a great time running on the new field. We all hope they have a great season ( well at least for the sake of the coaches wives, we don't like grumpy husbands).

My little trouble makers

It was just about time for my girls to start getting in to trouble. Whatever Mia does Ava does(at least she will try) Ava is going to be trouble I can tell. She climbs everything, she gets into everything, and she does not put up with Mia. I love to see their little personalities come out. Sometimes!!! :)

Our Labor Day BBQ

I hope everyone had a safe and fun Labor Day weekend. We took it easy went to Costco(our monthly trip$$$) and stayed home most of the weekend. But on Saturday our family was invited to a BBQ. One of the football coaches and his wife invited us over to their beautiful home in Winchester. We had such a great time. They had a huge spread of food and drinks. They had Carne Asada, chicken wings( from wings n things), salads, sodas of all kinds, beer of all kinds, hard liquor, homemade Sangria, and more. They sure know how to throw a party. The kids had such a great time. They have their very own resort in the backyard. Pool, spa, basketball court, fire pit and BBQ. I hope you all had as much fun as we did. Have a great day.-Vickie

My new toy

Yay!!! Look what I got. I love my new treadmill. I have been wanting one for awhile now, and my wonderful mother who loves to spoil us all purchased one for me (my early Christmas gift). I was so excited. Starting tomorrow my plan is to use it 6 days a week. I really am serious about wanting to run a marathon. And this is the first step. I will be running at home most of the time, but on days I can get out to my Stroller Strides class I will be running up hills. I can't wait. My hubby thinks I'm crazy for my love of running. I will keep you all updated on how it's going. Have a great day, Vickie
