So much to blog about

It's been awhile since I have posted anything. It has been so busy around my house. I had my baby girl on March 23rd. She is now 2 months old. Her name is Bella Victoria. It's so weird to look at her, she is a total blend of both of my girls. I wanted a large family and I got it. I can't belive we have 4 kids. It's a lot of work, but it's a lot of fun also. Its great to see these little people that we created and watch what kind of people they will be. I will post pictures soon. Have a good Monday.

My Nursery Project

I must be nesting. I have so much I want to get done before baby comes. Cleaning, decorating, organizing, and washing. I am excited and nervous at the same time. Emotionally these last few months have been pretty crazy and hard. But as it gets closer to delivering (3 weeks) I am getting ready. Here is a project that I was working on today: I used an old picture frame I had.
Next I picked some scrapbook paper that will match her nursery.
I then searched for a font on microsoft word that I liked for her name.

I put the paper down in a pattern, glued the letters down and then added some gems I had.

I love the way it turned out. It is going to look great in her room. And yep thats her name Bella. We both agreed on that name and love it. I'm sure I will have a few more things to post before the big day!

Hulaballo Fun

Last week we went to the outlet mall and saw Hulaballo. He is great. He sings old classic kids songs and also some very funny ones he wrote. It was great.
Ava was a total social butterfly. Mia was the one that always surprises me. She was so shy.

Ava singing and dancing to the pirate song. It was great to watch her.

She even wanted to go up on stage with the guy singing.

Mia and her buddy Jaycee were so cute. They loved to play the maracas. It was a good time. Its been hard these days to get out with the girls. I've been so uncomfortable and in pain. So it was great to get out. I only have like 7 weeks left! I can't wait to start running again. Happy Super Bowl Weekend!!!!!

Breastfed vs. Bottlefed babies...........

Ok well here I am with my 2 week old cute little angel. I have noticed one thing........ He is sooooooooooooooooo good. I was the breastfeeding pusher in all cases and even want to be a lactation consultant one day but this time I didnt want to breastfeed because of the meds I was on. I just had my heart surgery last friday when he was only days old and am not on meds except for some antibiotics for this nasty cough. Well he is 2 weeks old and I have been told that I can pump a full day and that will up my milk and I can breastfeed. I now am not sure what to do since he is the calmest baby I have ever had. I am not saying he would be different if he was breastfed but could it be? He eats every 3 hours and sleeps and never cries unless he is hungry .
I also feel I need to recooperate and breastfeeding seems to take it all out of me . I tend to not eat enough and have anemia and so on. What would you guys do. I want to BF because nothing is sweeter but I have to think about this one.

Breastfeeding vs. Bottle FED babies?

KIDS!!!

Ok it has been a hard day but I have some questions????

Why do my kids?

Stand at the bathroom door everytime I am in there??!!
Wait till we are on the road to have to pee?
Are hungry everytime we are out even if they just ate?
Have to pee when we are in the middle of a meal?
Have to make a paper trail everywhere they go? Must I follow them with a trash can?
Change their clothes 500 times?
AND WHY DONT MY KIDS LIKE TV??????????????????????????????????

Mia's 4th Birthday

Yesterday was our little girls 4th Birthday. I really can't believe where the time has gone. She is independent now. It makes me a little sad when I look back at pictures and videos of her. Time does fly. This past week has been very hard on my family with the passing of my grandpa, but if it has taught me anything it is that we have to cherish every second with our loved ones. Having children has been a blessing and has helped with these hard times. Here is Mia. She wanted to spend her special day at Build a Bear. Mia and Ava got to choose a special animal. Mia picked a Jack Russel puppy, and a Ava a cheetah.
Here they are kissing a heart to place inside. How cute.

Ava giving her Cheetah a fluff.

And a brush.

Mia also fluffing up her doggie.

And later we had yummy Birthday cake. She loves ice cream cake.

She made a wish, I wonder what it was? My little girl is such a sweet heart. She has her 4 year old moments (the attitude) but ever since she was little she has always had a big heart and loves to laugh.
Happy Birthday Mia!!

Sad News for our family

We lost out grandpa one week ago today. Here is what was in the paper:

Juan Orejel Sr., 82, passed away early Sunday morning, Jan. 10, surrounded by his loving family.Orejel had lived in Fontana for many decades. The term “family man” does not do justice to the dedication which Orejel showed to his kin. From humble roots, he built himself a successful life in Southern California through hard work and tireless effort. He and his wife Rosa raised four children, John, Joseph, Carmen, and Gloria, who themselves produced numerous healthy and successful grandchildren.Orejel loved animals and provided many a dog, young and old, with a loving home. He enjoyed working outdoors and never missed an opportunity to engage in a new project to enhance his home, which he took incredible pride in. His family and friends pray that he rest in peace and that God continue to watch over him.
WE WILL MISS YOU ALWAYS GRANDPA AND WE LOVE YOU.
