I had a great idea why dont we all get ourselves a journal or diary. Not just any old journal or diary. Get one that reminds you of your younger years .Like one you had when you were growing up or something you were really into. Use your imagaination and get one that speaks to you. Some of you may already journal but I am going to have questions posted here that will help you out. Once you get your diary or journal look on the right hand side of this website for the question of the week and really refelct on it.

Lisa'a Chocolate White Chip Cookies

1 cup butter 2 1/4 cups flour

3/4 cups sugar 1/2 cup Hersheys Cocoa

2/3 brown sugar 1 tsp baking soda

2 large eggs 1/4 tsp. salt

1 tsp. vanilla 3 Tbsp. milk

2 cups white chocolate chips

Bake @ 350 for 10-12 minutes

* cream sugars, butter, eggs, milk and vanilla then slowly add dry ingredients and chips. Drop well rounded Tbsp. onto baking sheet.

Playdoh

Hi all I just wanted to say that the playdough I made the other day was a hit. The girls entertain themsleves for long stretches of time and love it. It doesnt dry out at all like store bought playdoh. I just store each color in zip log bags and have a tub full of playdoh stampers, a few rolling pins, butter knives and cookie cutters. I am so glad I did it.

FRESH DRINK OF THE DAY

Good use for oranges................... I make this drink often and we love it so I thought I would share.

Fill pitcher 1/3 of fresh orange juice

FIll the rest with water and Ice

Add sugar to taste or Natural sweetener like Stevia

(I dont like artifiical sweetners but that is whole other topic)

* Dont forget you can do this with really any citrus fruit and it is great.

Cups for 3 and 4 year olds?

Can someone help me and tell me what is a good cup for this age group? My kids drink in a normal cup but I am sick of the spills allllllllllllllllllll of the time. Can we get through a meal ever in peace? Also the main reason is for the car. I do not like washing the straw kind. I have bought all kinds but right now I am all out they get lost or misplaced or who knows.

Valentines Day

Hello I just wanted to drop in. I am on my 3rd glass of wine. I made a really good dinner. Steak, mashed potatos, bisquits, salad, corn salsa and calamari . It was good and so is the wine. I got some beautiful roses and cute cards from Dh and little girls. Now I need chocolate.
Well I hope you all enjoyed your day. Vickie I am glad you love Sex in the City. I cant stand Sarah Jessica Parker for some reason so I cant stomach the show. Of course the show I love is Rosanne. I just need 3 more seasons to complete my collection. Veronica loves The Golden Girls.
Ok Sex in the city I can understand because Vickie is so stylish, Rosanne for me because she is a home town type of mom like me and a little chuncky but I still can figure out why Veronica love those old women. Hahahahaha. I do like Sophia the mother because she is a smart ass.
Ok I better go get my buggers to sleep because it is late.

Organizing tip of the day

Here is a easy way to keep your cleaning supplies and your towel together and ready to use whenever you need to dust or use any other cleaning product. Put them in a Ziploc bag and write what is in it on the bag. Fast and easy. And your cleaning supplies are always neat and easy to find.

We made playdoh today

It was fun yet unnerving. Hahahaha. Here is the recipie. 1 cup of flour, 1 cup boiling water, 2 tbsp of cream of tarter,1/2 cup salt, 1 tbsp oil and food coloring. mix it and knead it and let it cool. GOOD TIMES. Lisa

Feeling BLAH today

Ok I admit I am not in the mood to do anything today. If I didnt have a 3 and 4 year old running wild I would curl up in bed to read then take a nap then get up and get a warm cup a something and watch tv, read and go back to sleep. But no I have to work later and cook and clean and bathe kids. BLAH BLAH BLAH.
